Second lives used to be internal, private, maybe documented by diaries, or journals of dreams.
Now they are virtual; from Second Life to Facebook to Twitter. Digitalization has again taken hold. It's great to meet people and stay in touch with old friends--no denying that. But is our 2nd life, our inner thoughts, secrets and privacy as vivid internally as it used to be?
